Vegan Love at Rancho Soquel

This week’s wedding was a celebration of the great state that we live in.

Transplants from Connecticut and Boston, the Bride and Groom, Kristy and Steve, invited all dear (not necessarily near) to help them celebrate their wedding day!

Since coming to California, they have embraced the lifestyle and Steve was our first Groom ever (outside of beach weddings) to get married BAREFOOT !

Their wedding banquet was totally Vegan and prepared by Feast for a King Catering. Beginning with grilled and seasoned tofu steak and a vegan galette (a sort of Ratatouille) on polenta. Kale and Quinoa salad as well as a Castroville grilled vegetable platter. Of course there were vegan cupcakes for dessert. What an amazing meal and the couple were thrilled that they got all their friends and relatives to eat vegan, if only for a day.
