Marriage in the Forest

You wouldn't think that a backyard wedding could look like this but in Hannah's childhood home, the backyard is 11 acres and contains an olive grove, a rosemary pathway and a jungle!  It provided a stunning backdrop for Hannah & Dillion's wedding!

Hannah's vision was to marry and have cocktail hour in the forest and then move to the huge back patio of the house for the dining and dancing. It was a true labor of love. The family cleared the land in an area that became magical on Saturday for Hannah and Dillion's wedding. Her Dad built the benches for the ceremony and strung the bistro bulb lighting for the dancing.

Farm table dining for 200 was on the patio. Her "flower girls" were all grown-up childhood friends

It was a beautiful day and we wish the newlyweds a lifetime of happiness!

A Community Spirited Wedding

In what had to be the best weather day of the year, Molly & Forrest were married on the family commune just steps from where Molly's parent's were married 35 years ago and where Molly was raised. Forrest's Uncle John married them and their brothers and sisters served as their attendants!

The couple live in New York City and flew home for the wedding. From start to finish the wedding was a community effort! Farm tables and benches were built at the property, produce from the garden became apart of not only the meal but the jam favors. The bundt cakes were made by Molly's mom and the sparkler cake cutting was a great into into that delicious cake!

Michael's on Main Catering cooked up a Mexican feast and piping hot Posole arrived at 10 just when the dancing guests could use some more fuel!

Wonderful Wedding for Nick & Gabbi!

Fantastic wedding on May 30th for Nick and Gabbi Zimnick at the French's beautiful property in Aptos. The black and white theme could be found all over the wedding from the awesome black and white checkered dance floor to the table settings.

When the guests weren't showing off their moves on the dance floor, there were lots of fun options of things for them to do, including grabbing a drink at the coffee cart or champagne bar. Playing around in the photo booth, grabbing some dessert at the ice cream cart or sitting down for a smoke at the cigar bar.

Every little detail was lovingly planned and added to the wonderful tone of the day. Everyone had an amazing time celebrating the marriage of these two fantastic people!
