Festival-inspired Wedding in the Soquel Hills!

Welcome to the Hayfork Hotel!

Is one night of dancing at your wedding just not enough? Well it wasn’t for Katie and Nick. Their festival style wedding sure was one all 275 guests are sure to not forget. This 3 day event took place in a gorgeous vineyard amongst the redwoods, complete with a natural pond, glamping tents from Shelter Co, plenty of live music and even a bagpiper!

Our stunning bride was escorted to the aisle in an old school Model A Ford by her father and grandfather. If half your guests show up in cowboy boots, a cow hide lined aisle really sets the tone and looked absolutely gorgeous in the redwood cathedral. The benches were custom made out of redwood from the property just for this amazing occasion! This family really pulled out all the stops to make this wedding one to remember!

Guests were invited to cocktail hour at the pop-up hotel dubbed the “Hayfork Hotel” stylized by local design and rental company Revival Rentals. You know you have great groomsmen when one of them offers to design and build you a mobile beer bar complete with 10 rotating taps pulled by a tractor! Delicious hours d’oeuvres provided by Mickey’s catering.

Wander through the vineyard awhile, and you would run across a hidden bar serving ice cold beverages and offering games for the guests overlooking the pond.

Guests really got an opportunity to hike up their skirts and put on their dancing boots! Aptos street barbeque provided a mouth watering meal, followed by Marianne’s ice-cream cart, an old school photo booth in a VW bus, late night tacos and one of the best wedding bands I’ve ever seen - flown in from Nashville just for this event! The bride and groom saw them on a trip to Nashville and knew they were who they wanted to dance to on their wedding night.

The sun went down and the stars came up as guests danced the night away listening to live country music amongst grapevines on a warm July night.
